In the Orient, soybeans are cultivated for thousands
of years. In the last century, it was introduced in
America and became famous for its nutritional properties. It is
composed of more than 36% proteins, 17% energy producing fat matter
and less than 13% carbohydrates and large amounts of vitamin A and D. |
Because of the responsibility food production implies, Alpro selects raw materials among suppliers who meet high quality levels and, of course, the requirements of our customers. Low fat IWA Soybean Flour is one important element of our line of food. It is obtained from grounded soybean leaflets and contains up to 48% protein and less than one percent fat.

It enriches IWA Atoles (corn starch and
8% vegetal protein, 6 flavors), IWA
Chocolate (fermented cocoa and 5% protein) and Pastisoya (wheat
semolina containing more than 12% protein).
Soyarne (46% protein) is 100% vegetal: Textured Soybean is an
excellent meat complement. Besides being inexpensive, its neutral flavor allows
to season it according to your taste and to experiment with new national and
international flavors...
